Living it up in Las Vegas

We arrived in Vegas just after lunch on Monday after two very long flights. We checked in to the Bellagio and were offered an upgrade to a suite for only a little extra per night. We decided to go ahead with it and are very glad we did. Our room was on the top floor, had a powder room, separate lounge room, separate bedroom and separate his and her bathrooms (his with a shower steam room and hers with a spa bath). It was amazing and on the first night they even came in and did a turn down service! We spent the afternoon/evening wandering around some of the casinos close by. Next morning we took the bus up to the Premium Outlets and did some shopping. We found some good bargains and spent up in a few of the shops! On the way back down we stopped in at one of the malls on the strip and did a bit more shopping before heading back to the hotel for a rest before we headed out for the night. Dinner last night was at the Bellagio Buffet. It was the best buffet we have ever eaten at (the choices were endless). I don't think we can ever eat at another buffet again - they just wouldn't compare. After dinner we took the bus up to Fremont St. They do a light show on the sails on the roof which was really cool and there are more casinos to explore up there. One of the casinos offered $2 coronas - so Wade was a happy man! In the way back we got off the bus at the Stratosphere Tower and went up the top to see the view! After this we caught the bus back to the hotel and watched the musical fountain show - which was really beautiful. This morning we had a sleep in and savoured the last moments of our room and have just checked out. We are going to check out some of the Casinos on the lower end of the strip before we head to the airport for our flight to San Francisco. We have both had such a great time while we have been away but are looking forward to heading home tomorrow.
