Orlando & Universal Studios

Our last days at Disney were really good. We went back to a couple of the parks to re-do our favourite rides and see some of the night fireworks and shows (which were really cool). On Saturday morning we switched hotels for our next few days at Universal Studios. Our hotel here was one off the on-site ones, was hawaiian themed and so beautiful. Staying at the hotel meant that we had transport to the parks and restaurants and we also got express entry onto all the major rides (most waits were no more than 5-10 minutes. There are two parks in Orlando - Islands of Adventure (which has most of the major rides and rollercoasters - and we went on all of them, some multiple times) and Universal Studios (which is the standard park). One moment of excitement for us - on our first ride yesterday, the rollercoaster themed for the Mummy, there was a "technical" issue and they had to stop the ride and get us all off! We had dinner at the Nascar Sports Grille last night which was really nice. Most tables in the restaurant have personal tv's with multiple stations to choose from (mostly sport) so Wade was in his element! We are now sitting in yet another airport waiting for our flight to Las Vegas and will be home at the end of the week (which will be both good and bad at the same time!).
